Personal Philisophy

I believe that children with autism and other developmental disabilities have a right to an effective and individualized treatment to meet their unique needs. Fitting the instruction techniques and curriculum to the child, rather than trying to fit the child into the techniques and curriculum can achieve the best outcome.

My goal is to create an individualized treatment program based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) utilizing Skinner's Analysis of Verbal Behavior (VB). The program consists of a balance of Intensive Teaching using Discrete Trial Training utilizing errorless learning technique and Natural Environment Teaching.

I see my mission in helping children to achieve their full potential and empowering everyone involved in the lives of children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
