What else can you say besides "touch", "give", "point"… Here is a list of alternative creative ways to identify objects:

"Dust _" give child a feather duster

"Slap _" give child a fly swatter

"Shine on _" give child a flashlight

"Tap _" give child a "magic wand"

"Stamp _" give child a stamper to stamp the target picture

"Throw on _" give child a beanbag and put objects or cards on the floor

"Take off _" hang cards on a clothesline with clothespins

"Feed Barney_" (works with food items) ask child to "feed" Barney or other favorite stuffed animal

"Take out_" attach pictures with magnets to the fridge

"Bury_" ask child to "bury" objects in the container filled with beans or rice

"Catch_" play fishing game. attach paper clips to the picture cards and spread them on the floor. give child a fishing rod (stick with a string and a magnet tied to the end) and "go fishing"
